God’s Masterpiece
I talked with you this past week about being U(nique) – about being U and being Unique. Have you thought more about it? Are you starting to be convinced that there really is something special and unique about you?
I hope so. Because it’s the truth!
Another aspect of that truth is this . . .
You are not just different and unique . . .
but you are HIGHLY VALUABLE!
That’s right! You are priceless. You are worth more than money can buy.
How do I know?
Because God said so!
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10
I spoke about you being a Masterpiece last week – that God doesn’t make copies, but one-of-a-kind masterpieces. But let me expand on that . . .
How Valuable are you?
How do you know how valuable something is?
Is it determined by how rare it is? By who made it? By how many people want it?
Those are all things that can affect the value of something. But the true test of how valuable something is, is this:
How much would someone pay for it?
How much would someone pay for you? How much did someone pay for you?
I have 5 kids, and even though I would give my life for one of my kids, I don’t know that I would give one of my kid’s lives for anyone else. Would you?
Well – that’s what you were bought with . . . the life of someone’s son – willingly sacrificed (by Father and Son) in a horrible death, just for you – not only so you can have eternal life with God one day, but so that you can be healed of all diseases, sicknesses and infirmities – so that you can have an “abundant life” here on earth – so that you can destroy the works of the devil and can do all the things that God has created you to do!
Jesus sacrificed his life – just for you . . . because you are HIGHLY VALUABLE! Priceless!

High Value – Good Things
Trust and believe that you are of value – HIGH value . . . and then go out and “do the good things” that God planned a long time ago for you to do.
Don’t know what to do – what you were created to do?
It’s easy . . .
LOVE!
Love everyone (yes – even your enemies) – and be a blessing to all you meet!
If you are having trouble doing that – then you need your love tank filled up . . . and where better to fill it up than the source of love . . . LOVE Himself! God is Love!
Start there. With God. Soak in His love. Then let that love leak out onto all those around you!
If you do nothing else than this with your life – you will be a success!!
Sip and Soak
I pray that you not only “sip” this word today – but that you swallow it – let it sink in – really soak in it’s truth this week.
Post it up in your bathroom (or another highly visible place) and read it out loud every time you go in there. Let it sink in.
Replace the lies you’ve believed about yourself for so long with the truth that is eternal . . .
