Happy Thanksgiving 2012!

Nehemiah 8:10 – Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I hope and pray that this wish finds you enjoying a day of thanksgiving, food, family, friends, fun, and maybe a little nap or football later in the afternoon!  🙂

This morning I decided I needed a date with Bob Harper (from Biggest Loser) so as to not feel as guilty when I ate my famous streusel topped pumpkin pie, my sister’s AMAZING apple pie with vanilla ice cream, and of course – a plate full of turkey, mashed potatoes, my must-have stuffing, and more!

After working my butt off (I don’t think I’ll be able to walk much today!) . . . I’m sitting here by my hubby – both of us being nerds on our computers, while watching the Macy’s parade, with sounds of video games in the distance (as I can never convince my boys to watch the parade with me).  I feel like I’m in heaven watching all the Broadway musical numbers, and now the Rockettes!  It just makes me want to jump up and sing and dance!  🙂  (Yes – I always wanted to sing, dance and act on Broadway – or be a Rockette!  Never got to take dance lessons though – as my mom and dad said I was going to take piano because “it’s more practical”.  🙂  Oh well.  Maybe that will be my goal for this next year . . . learn to sing, dance and act and do a local play?  🙂  We’ll see!)

What I’m Thankful For . . .

I am thankful for so many things – including you, my readers!  You are a blessing – and I hope you know how thankful your family, friends and kids are to have you in their lives!

I am so thankful for my family, especially my husband – Jeremy – who has been by my side for over 20 years now.  Love you Babe!

I am thankful for my amazing kids – all 5 of them – as well as my extended West and Fox families!  I am truly blessed with amazing Christian families and heritage!

Above all I am thankful that I know and have an intimate and personal relationship with the one person who loves me unconditionally, has radically changed my life, who sustains me, protects me, heals me, sets me free, and so much more! Thank you God (Jesus, Daddy & Holy Spirit) for being my friend, savior, counselor, healer and more!
