Founder’s Inn – Virginia Beach
Sunday, November 27th, 12-8pm
Address 5641 Indian River Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23464 (Just off of I-64, Indian River East exit)
Beginning 12pm & throughout the day, enjoy:
- The toy factory
- face painting
- magicians
- the Doorway Singers
- strolling entertainment and area musicians and choirs singing

- The Happy Holdiays Marionette Show, featuring singing Santa Claus

In the 18th century, illuminations were sometimes held to commemorate the birth of the reigning sovereign. Today we hold a Grand Illumination in the Historic Area. Musical performances from multiple stages and firework displays from three different locations within the Historic Area make this event one that is not to be missed! Start your holiday season off with a pleasant memory of a present experience in the past.
Musical performances begin at 5:15 p.m., and fireworks displays from three locations—the Palace, Magazine, and Capitol—at 7 p.m.
No ticket or reservation required.
Norfolk Parade
Saturday, November 19th, 7-9pm
Holidays in the City celebrates six weeks of magical festivities, saluting the holidays of Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and New Year’s Eve. The festivities begin on Saturday, November 19th at 7:00pm with the illumination of the downtown Norfolk and Olde Towne Portsmouth skylines followed by Hampton Roads’ most cherished event, the Grand Illumination Parade. Festive floats, marching bands, giant balloons, dancers and Santa himself will delight spectators as they parade through downtown Norfolk.
Suffolk Holiday Parade
Saturday, December 10th – 7-8:30pm
Address – Main & Washington Streets, etc. – Suffolk, VA 23434
Usher in the holiday spirit with Suffolk’s Annual Holiday Parade through historic downtown. Enjoy colorful floats, marching bands, dance groups, equestrian clubs and more! Select your perfect viewing location before the 7pm parade step-off.
Hampton – Coliseum Central Holiday Parade
Saturday, November 19 – 9:30am

Join us for the Coliseum Central Holiday Parade Presented by Pensinsula Town Center. You won’t want to miss the marching bands, floats, helium balloons and more as they take center stage in the festivities; Santa Claus is also sure to stop by!
